Help me..shogun throne bug!

I updated Nero as well as a bunch of codecs, I installed DivX 5.0.1 (even if I can't see the relation with this problem) but I still have the 'Debugger detected' crash in the Throne room.
I tried to uninstall Nero 6 and of course it works fine. The problem is, I don't want to uninstall Nero 6 nor upgrade it to Nero 7. Can anybody help on that one ? TIA

Try updating your Divx codec to the latest version, if that fails try other versions. Nero isn't the problem, it's the divx codec that comes with it, and the copy protection (yes copy protection again... *sigh*) for that, which causes the error.

Also you could try running "services.msc", search through for any nero burning rom related services and terminate them (use the right click and properties and stop them, don't disable them) for that session, then test the game again. This may work, though I'm not sure.

If it still fails you will probably have to uninstall Nero 6.

Edit: Checked for Nero services and couldn't see any, there is a nero check program that is run at start up but I doubt this is related. You can disable it from msconfig.
