Hey,
What was the name of that online game where you created your own nation, voted on different laws etc... I forgot the name.

This should be interesting![]()

Good name. Entire foreign policy consists of saying "Look behind you, a three headed monkey!" Works every time.
"The facts of history cannot be purely objective, since they become facts of history only in virtue of the significance attached to them by the historian." E.H. Carr
Nationstates sounds fun. Does anyone here played it before and like to give me a hint or two before I start?![]()
I used to have a nationstate, but after a short vacation didn't resume playing. Sad story.
"Under capitalism, man exploits man. Under communism, it's just the opposite." - John Kenneth Galbraith
Nationstates...meh.
No mechanism for war, trade, interaction with others of any type. And skewed to support a liberal philosophy. At least it was 2 or so years ago.

The poorest man may in his cottage bid defiance to all the forces of the Crown. It may be frail; its roof may shake; the wind may blow through it; the storm may enter; the rain may enter; but the King of England cannot enter – all his force dares not cross the threshold of the ruined tenement! - William Pitt the Elder

I already built my stupid dumb-nation somethingsomething by the name of "Darwinian Monkeys" (I know, terrible name). If anyone wants to build the region of the org I'll be glad to move in with ya.![]()
Currently the young nation is quite socially progressive, and producing Uranium (though utterly barren, but that's another matter), so I promise to be a good neighbor!
I don't plan to join the UN though, at least for quite some time. It sounds too much of an obligation for an easygoing, once-a-day-a-minute kind of game.
That is, for Nationstates, not CyberNations.
