The New Chat Server

I have been getting this message when I attempt to send a private message in the chat: You must identify to a registered nick to private message Craterus.

What exactly does that mean I have to do? Can we have that removed?

As I gather, this new chat system actually has people sign up to it with registered nicks. Probably to stop imposters joining channels and wreaking havoc.

Unfortunately, it means we will all have to register (where?) to have private conversations in the chat.

Well I did guess that much. If we have to register I'd like to know if there's a chance that we could switch chat servers, or if that's not possible. It's not a huge problem, but if we can do that without making any sacrifices that'd be nice.

Random question, can the Turks use this new server? I think I heard someone say that LEN, Mouza and Faisal couldn't use this one, is that true? Because that's also a downgrade, Faisal used to be able to get into the old server.

Yes Husar I meant that.

Barocca it does, however if you attempt to talk to someone privately that error message shows up and your message is not sent to the person you are attempting to contact.
