For members who need a little more background - some months ago, inspired by Chivalry, I started playing around with battlefield textures. I got a few weird 'alien world' patterns going but they only worked on the battle tile itself, beyond the borders of the mini-map the colours were unchanged. Now, though, Muizer has posted a solution!

Usefull discovery, but not enough to bring the Duke back to RTW modding I fear. If some gentle soul wants to do this work for NTW2 give me a shout, cos I got too much work on my hands already.

Just wondering, what happens when troops march on slopes as steep as the ones in the TWcenter post? Don't they get all stretched and stuff?

Nice looking terrain, in combination with some good new textures it would really spice up the campaign game.
