A FINANCIAL shambles at the Home Office resulted in its accounting system producing figures showing transactions of more than £26 trillion: one and a half times higher than the GDP of the planet, according to a report published today.

Serious weaknesses in controls in the department exposed it to a high risk of fraud, irregularity, poor value for money and waste in its financial operations.

“When the gross transaction value of debits and credits within this data was totalled, they each amounted to £26,527,108,436,994: almost 2,000 times higher than the Home Office’s gross expenditure for 2004-05 and approximately one and a half times higher than the estimated gross domestic product of the entire planet,” a note from the National Audit Office said.

So 1+1=3

And the government says that education standards hav'n't dropped.

Home office said gun crime was out of control ....they added air gun crimes to the list of gun crimes, thats why! they used that to get a bill passed after it did they took air guns off and claimed the bill drastically cut down on crime....it is a propaganda office.
