Can't build troops

Hello everyone,

Having just recently downloaded the latest patch(no ctds yay!!) and i started a couple of new campaigns. In one of them...with the germans...and after expanded quickly to the east i ended up not being able to build any kind of troops, even after building my government and troop building structures. Anyway this has been going on for a while and i am getting to the point where i need some local troops badly.
Does anyone had this happening, is this a already known bug, or am i doing something wrong here?

Basically, from what I've read, you can't really recruit much of anything east beyond your initial settlement. This is a known, and hopefully will be corrected in .8.

There are some areas where troop recruitment problems still exist. Sweboz recruitment to the east of their starting position is supposed to be bad (I've never played as them). Roman recruitment in south Italy is too (till reforms), as is any other faction in central italy. Nikomedia is bad. Illyria ain't that great for Epeiros even. We are using an almost entirely new system for 0.8 that we are working on now, so I'm afraid that we aren't able to go back to 074 and work on those problems right now.

My advice for you would be to ask for some help for the Sweboz here, and I bet some fans would be able to tell you what a good plan of action for them would be. Sorry I can't offer much more help than that directly here. We've lost our earlier coordinator for them, and I'm not sure if our current one is around the right at this moment.
