Where can I get an installation program?

I've seen that nearly all mods can be installed with an installation file. Where can I get such a tool and how does it work? I need it so that my minimod can be installed the real way without having to copy/paste everything into the RTW folder.

Try something like Install Creator, its a free installation tool that's pretty simple to use. You can either build the installation manually if you know what you're doing, or instead you can use the built-in wizard to customise and build your own installer, testing it out at every step. I've used it myself for earlier versions of the mod, and will probably use it again for future versions.
