    Default Wierd connection interuptions.

I have 2 computers, one upstairs and the other downstairs. The one downstairs has the broadband router connected to it and the upstairs one (which is my personell gaming computer) connects to that.

Whenever somebody answers the phone, or uses the microwave, my gaming computer's connection goes out. Anybody know why?

    Wireless LAN router?

    Cordless phone?

    Microwave Oven...

Radio Frequency Interference is the issue.

Try to change you access point channels. If the cordless phone or microwave are too close to any part of your wireless setup you can expect these sort of problems.
