    Default Modding generals and governers?

    Hi

sorry for asking all these modding questions, but i am need of your professional advice. When ever i play rtw all my gov's become corrupt, inparticular the trait "Wildly extravagant" keeps showing up in all my gov's trait list's. Is there anyway you can erase this trait?

and try reading the guide "on the feeding and breeding of generals" in the Guides section, that will help you avoid the traits in the first place!

Sounds like you are building the temples that give these extravagent traits or you have a large treasury. Got more than 100K? start bribing or recruiting, buy towns etc.

I have heard some people claim they move there governers every turn just to avoid certain traits that you can get for spending a complete turn in a city.

There are sooooooo many triggers my advice would be to get bug-fixer and read the guides on governors and temples.

Unless of course you just want to start modding in general...

Looking through the traits file, the expensive taste trait can be obtained through numerous ways - the biggest temples of love/trade, treasury over certain amount and city plumbing.

    Ways to avoid this include:
    - not building advanced sewage systems
    - keeping your treasury low
    - moving your governors every turn
    - not building temples such as Bacchus ones

Some other things not to do as well, to avoid other bad traits, include:
    - not building taverns
    - not building theaters
    - not building arenas
    - not building racetracks

Moving governers at every turn might also stop them from getting some good traits.

It also helps to try and keep your treasury below 50000 Denarii. If you go above, you start getting the triggers for the corrupt traits.
