Battle Resolution Option Grayed Out

Excuse the possibly newbie-style question, but ...

I've just finished a campaign played as the Karthadastim and began one as the Casse. All was going well, until I started my first battle. I found the 'Resolve Battle on the Battle Map' option was grayed out and I could only 'Auto-Resolve' it. The same thing happened in the next battle. And the next. So I tried starting a campaign as the Sweboz (who I've played before with no problems) and the same thing happened.

I haven't changed EB at all and I'm pretty certain I haven't changed any settings, but it seems the 'Battle Map' option is now always grayed out. Any ideas as to what's going on?

Never heard of that one before. If you can post a save game, that would let us quickly determine if the problem is in the game file or in your EB installation.

Just an UI problem you can click the button it only looks greyed out.
