    First impressions - very good.

I like being able to split my workers.......
havent worked out what naval bases do yet.....

I will need more time to really have a look. The extra time scale, ie upto the 2nd world war is a welcomed addition, as is the ability to export to Hoi2- doomsday.

I wonder how different the new military system is...
Heard that it's a pretty small expansion size-wise, is it true?

I decided to stick with my HoI2 experience and use a country that's left pretty much uninvolved for much of the game, left to my own devices. This time, it's Transvaal, and I'm enjoying myself. The Laissez-Faire model seems to be working pretty well, even though the capitalists tend to build railroads more than anything...but then, I can't support much of an industry at this point anyway.

Dont quite know what you mean, it seems the same to me so far, havent noticed to many differences.

The expansion itself is tiny, only about 28mb, but it only cost $9.99 so cant really complain.

Im playing as belgium and currently are about 20 years into the campaign of 1836. I have quite a few provinces, including a number of Dutch provinces and a few small german states.....

Britain doesnt seem as keen to give me armies to fight my battles as she did in previous versions, and as of yet I cant build any colonies.... The AI seems a little more aggressive, France has already created indo-china and Britain is marching through India and adding provinces to her empire as she goes.

The expansion is being promoted like this:

"Also features a revamped election and politics system, an overhauled military system, a new economic system, and an expanded tech tree to cover the interwar period, including aircrafts and carriers."

EDIT: Ah, just noticed that these are mentioned in the first post as well.

Ive noticed an advanced Tech tree, but for the other I cant really say ive noticed to much.

Depending on what party rules yor state, will depend on what you can do though. For example if you have a government that is 'Laissez-Faire ' you cant build railways or factories. But this isnt a problem, as all you do is build up the correct amount of cash and resources, and change your ruling party to one that allows this, I also then hold an election, which I feel personally keeps the population happy, well in my own mind anyway.

I will take a better look at these systems when I play later.

What I have noticed is that the game tells you if factories dont have resource, or you have a budget deficit, so you dont need to keep checking the tabs to find out yourself....

Or let the capitalists do it...hence 'laissez-faire'.

Well, I've played through two GC's and I like the game very much, but the export feature is, for all intents and purposes, broken. This depresses me.
