It's just a matter of principle. I won't vote and I won't comment on the stories of other participants, because I consider that judging or at least trying to affect the jury's opinion.
Let them decide, without influence of the participants.

I'm not voting either, or making comments on the work of others. However, it would be nice if there was a feedback thread for writers for others (about their writing and not the contest); at least every author would then receive something back for his effort regardless of whether he won or not. Just a thought.
Haha nobody liked my story, my only vote was casted by myself... against some principle perhaps, but I think that story needed a sympathy vote.
