Request for quick fix to an "Action Man"

I'll put this simple:

1) I have an "action man"; that is to say, I have a floating skin that isn't connected to the model

2) I need this resolved

3) I can't do it myself because my 3DS Max 8 trial has expired and because I don't know how.

This is a very important model that I need resolved ASAP. Of course all work will be credited.
