Spartan, I think tbh means "to be honest", or at least that's how I've seen it used. Rare to see, though.

"My anda Temujin [Genghis Khan] has four hounds whom he brought up on human flesh, and kept in chains. They have brows of copper, snouts like chisels, tongues like bradawls, hearts of iron, and tails that cut like swords. They can live on dew, and ride like the wind. On the day of battle they eat the flesh of men. You see how, being set loose, they come forward slavering for joy. Those two are Jebe and Khubilai; those two are Jelmei and Subetai. That is who those four 'hounds are." [Jamukha`s reply to Tayang Khan; The Secret History of the Mongols]![]()

Problem is that they would all have to be Black Adder the First Quotes and the funny scenes require two quotes not one for exampleOriginally Posted by Peasant Phill

Milord wouldn't something more like the Black Adder be more cunning?-Baldric
But Baldric I have an even more cunning plan, the Black-Black AdderSpoiler Alert, click show to read:
Having just one of those quotes in wouldn't be good, you need Baldrick and Black Adder's piece.
true but you can still use some:

This seems to got really out of control, although most of the quotes are funny!![]()
Although I would have to agree with a couple other people in saying that loading screen quotes would get boring and repetitive. I would prefer a cool way of loading, the loading bar could be experimented with and made nice and fun to look at. Or I think the best way to deal with loading screens is to go and get something to eat whilst you wait for it to load, or watch TV.or do any odd jobs you need to get done. the one addition i like about this medieval 2: total war is how the battlefield comes straight from the map (i only played rome: total war for a couple days, not sure if it was the same in that, correct me if wrong), i think that will interest the player.
i still think getting a drink or getting food is the best way to deal with loading screens, it is just like comercials on TV, but you can't flick the channel
whatever,
we will see what happens
