so just download the "Romans" and the "UI Patch"? the middle link is the same as the Romans one

I downloaded everthing, and put it in the R:TW folder, I click on "launch Resgestae" it shows the first screen and brings me back to the desktop...

Yeah, been there and had that happen a couple months ago (a longer than that really), got no where with RES GESTAE, and took it off my pc and checked out other mods. A good one is RomA Surrectum, Europa Barbarum and NAP2 (my favorites) I'm not going to reload RES GESTAE until they fix the issues with it.
