So. Who plays a musical instrument here for fun, besides "school band".

I play Guitar. I started about 15 years ago. Anyone else?

I play guitar along with my fellow mindmate musicians in a band called LionHumanGoat. Lovely stuff. I had about 9 years of classical piano training before I started playing guitar, which helped.

And just as an aside, I'd like to express my insane-like anticipation and excitement for the upcoming Tool concert I will be attending. Thank you .

Bass n' cello. I've been playing the bass, upright and electric, for five years and there was a year when I played little. I've just started playing the cello but it's pretty similar. I guess I'm good enough to entertain myself.

Guitar very badly. I was better on piano after ten minutes of messing about on one.

Oh well, just in case I ever join a world renowned band.

I've played the trumpet for about eight years. It's not really an instrument for a pop band, but I've played together with a lot of people.

Tomorrow I'm starting learning drums in fact.. I look forward to that.
