Hello;
I'm wondering why you don't make your mod compatible with RTW v1.5 or RTW BI???
I found your mod so great ,But I can't use it because of v1.2 patch.![]()
-Kambiz
It's coming - the next version, EB beta 0.8, will be for RTW 1.5.
Just install the 1.2 patch from the EB website and play now.
I shouldn't have to live in a world where all the good points are horrible ones.
Is he hurt? Everybody asks that. Nobody ever says, 'What a mess! I hope the doctor is not emotionally harmed by having to deal with it.'
The EB team has said that it will be released When it is ready. No firm dates :(
Rest in Peace TosaInu, the Org will be your legacy

I heard the AI of 1.6 is a lot better...

We don't have any plans of porting to BI 1.6 so far.
We'll stick for the moment with 1.5.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
While there are no plans for making EB compatible with 1.6, doing so yourself would be very easy. There are two simple methods: delete/rename your BI folder and simply run the .exe, or run the .exe with the -mod: command switch. I'd like to see a minimod after its release that adds a few BI-only features to EB, just to make use of the extra features.
As for whether the AI is any different to 1.5, that's debatable. With RTRPE, some people swear that the AI is better in 1.6, others claim there is no difference. Personally, I think there is a slight difference, especially in naval invasions by factions which have them enabled, but on the battlefield it seems roughly the same.
It seems to be implied that it is "sooner rather than later", but who knows how long testing will take if it turns up tricky problems? :)Originally Posted by CountArach

I ran through 10 turns of a mid-game Rome RTRPE with and without using the BI exe (doing nothing but autoresolving). The strategic AI with BI seemed better in consolidating its stacks and took more of my settlements.Originally Posted by Cheexsta
BI did seem to avoid RTWs problem of a profileration of small AI stacks. Before, I had assumed this was just due to the difference in the campaign settings, but maybe the AI was tweaked?
