nudiesSIGHTSEERS in the trendy Vermont town of Brattleboro may get more of an eyeful than they bargained for.
All summer, youths have been taking advantage of a loophole in local laws to strut their stuff naked in the town.
I like this idea...just be careful when you do a stir fry.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

What the heck, why do I hear about this first here and not from someone in town?? Brattleboro is only an hour or two north of me at most, but I haven't heard a thing about it, unlike when the college in town had the same problem....Then we got a front page picture of someone wearing a backpack on a bicycle.
Oh well, it's really nothing new up here, ever since the hippy-migration in the '60's Vermont's been a bit weird, but I love it anyway.

If it's true that Vermont was indeed invaded by hippies (they must be nearly pensioners by now) then wearing no clothes could be a recipe for disaster, ala boulder burns....unless they grow their own of course....

Exactly how crazy is Vermont? I'm against it.
Walking around naked should be tied to permit laws. Make a Commission of Bodily Aesthetics, or something like that.

Well Vermont is pretty crazy, and the people can be both unreasonably liberal/left (and not just for the US but in comparison to the more extreme lefties from outside the US on the Org too), and unbelievably far right. But there is also a nice medium, who are a fair amount more liberal than the rest of the US, but don't take it too far. That and the scenery is wonderful. But you really shouldn't come to live here, tourists are fine but if any more flatlanders move in we might have to secede and stop foriegn immigration.
