    To our noble enemies.
The Holy Roman Emperor and all his lands announce a cessation of diplomacy with all those nations whom wish war.

So, the "good" German Emperor has bit over more than he sees himself able to swallow?
"One of the nice things about looking at a bear is that you know it spends 100 per cent of every minute of every day being a bear. It doesn't strive to become a better bear. It doesn't go to sleep thinking, "I wasn't really a very good bear today". They are just 100 per cent bear, whereas human beings feel we're not 100 per cent human, that we're always letting ourselves down. We're constantly striving towards something, to some fulfilment"

    "Holy Roman" Emperor,
The Tsar is outraged with your reaction to the Duke of Brandenburg's statement. He was asking to council you and discuss your position in the Russo Ottoman-Polish German conflict rationally and you call him a traitor? How dare you? You do not think rationally, rather, you are driven by your emotions and are distant in spirit from your people. You are acting so irrational that your Brothers in arms are willing to stop you by force. You shun the Duke of Brandenburg who was once your loyal servant. And why? For taking a strategical point of view, for looking out for the German peoples of your Empire? Foolishness and stubborness cloud your vision, and the only thing that will purge the land of your wretched rule is your blood!
Now the Poles and Germans see this is a loosing conflict, and they are merely buying themselves a smally amount of time before they are crushed by the Pan-European Coalition. You cannot stop the wave of Ottoman riders, the ferocity of the Tsar's Cossacks, the ingenuity of the Swedes and possibly the guns of the French. Now, the conflict is looking dismal for you, so the Tsar suggest you and Sigismund of Poland to take a most humble stance toward all of the nations you both respectively have insulted.

We in Poland, are tired of this un-fair conflict between us and the Muscovites. As such, we are officially calling on the Tsar Vasili to end this conflict between Us and your People. We are asking that the Muscovites.

Sign a five-year armistice between our nations.

Have a meeting of all Boyars in the Russian nation, to decide between Vasili and Wladyslaw. Maybe a consular rule can be achieved? Have the candidates attend this meeting, with the armies a fair ten miles from the city. Whoever is chosen signs the five-year armistice, and we discuss borders with them. During the meeting the Polish army will reside ten miles from the city. A cease-fire will be in effect between the acceptance of this proclamation, and the end of the meeting.

If Wladyslaw is elected, he will be disowned by the Commonwealth, and be free to rule as he sees fit. Vasili will disband his army, accept this decision, and retire from the throne.
If Vasili is elected, then we will accept it, and withdraw all Polish troops and candidates to a new border, and be content with a five-year armistice.

We hope you agree to this fair, judicial, and constitutional decision

    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

I seek one compromise, I have already been elected and I will stay as the Tsar. Other than that, I see your armstice as a very good idea. Now, one question arises, if and when the "Holy Roman" Emperor hears of this, will you stand against his possibly hostile actions? Of course you will be aided by all the nations I have dubbed the Pan-European Coalition (Ottomans, Sweden, Myself, and more in the future). War with the HRE seems inevitable, so I just want to know if you can directly aid our cause, or you can indirectly help by allowing us safe passage.

From the court of King James the First of England and Sixth of Scotland

"It would appear we live in moumentous times.
The Kings of Europe would do well to heed the lessons learnt by the ourselves and his highness, the King of Spain - war only brings death, despair and destruction. The honourable resolution of our difficulties enable both countries to flourish and bring civilisation and the word of God to the New World. Words and sharp intellect achieve so much more than the dull instrument of the sword.
    We announce the following:
We will send representation to the meeting of Protestant nations.
We graciously accept the invitation of the Spanish King to his Christmas celebrations and thank him for his splendid invitation. Moreover, we call upon the Kings of Europe to use this opportunity to resolve their difficulties and prevent the scourge of war stalking the continent.
As a nation with nothing to gain from a conflict in Central Europe, I offer my services in any negociations to prevent such a catastrophe."

    God bless the King!!!
