Oh, I know you weren't railing against it or anything. I do think when people get into the game and try it they will see that some things they might think look or sound weird work. The roman gui comes to mind. It looks like a wacky color scheme, but once you get in game, and play a few turns, it's no big deal. Our name system turns some folks off initially, but I don't know many people who have played it much worry with them. Most complaints about the names seem to come from folks who either have never tried EB or who have loaded it, taken one look, and bolted. EB is all about trying these new things out!
