Greetings, Singleton Mosby!
Check out this thread, which discusses the same problem at somewhat greater length. In the end, rolling back your video driver might take care of the issue.

just like Martok said... i was having the same issue, and this thread talks about that!![]()
setting the anti-aliasing from "off" to "2x" in the video card performance settings should solve the crashing right before the campaign screen loads.

Ok, that is great and all but where can I find a screen in which I can change it?Originally Posted by unseelie craig
My 3-d card is a Prosavage DDR 32 MB
go to 'display properties'
then 'settings'
click 'advanced'
and then there should be a video card tab to click.... then find the 'performance settings'.
im not sure if everything will be the same for your video card... i have a GeForce 7300 LE card which came on my brand new computer. so yours might be different

Damn, it isn't there........... is there another way to change it?Originally Posted by unseelie craig
The Savage card, that's an old one. Forcing anti-aliasing might not even be possible, and I doubt the card could handle AA and play the battles well. I did a Google search, but didn't find much about your card and MTW, aside from one previous post on the subject here. Have you tried using a newer/older driver? Also, what version of Direct X are you running? You probably won't want to be running a Direct X above 7/8. Sometimes newer versions of Directx and old cards can cause problems. Also try playing the game at a lower resolution to see if that helps.
