    not been around for a while but sega announced that alexander is to be released on its own as well as part of the eras compilation.

    Well I don't know about it being obvious, but I'm sure it was always in Sega's mind to do this. Making the expansion out like it was some kind of Internet/Eras exclusive was a great way to drum up some early sales, and to make Eras seem much more appealing to those wishing to buy a physical copy.

    Neither the internet download with it's awful limitations on how many times you could install it nonsense, nor the Eras pack interested me, so this is the only way I'll get the add-on, although only a low price will appeal to me, if at all.
