    Default Loading screen curser "trails"

In know I've seen the answer to this somewhere before, but can't remember where.

I'm playing RTRealism 5.41. All been playing and behaving well until today.

Suddenly, out of the blue, on the loading screens, the big gold curser arrow leaves "trails" across the screen, and just fills the screen up the more you move it about.

I know it's a simple fix, as it happened once before, some time ago.

Can anyone remind me what is required to get rid of this.

    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks everyone for your answers.
I realised that it was connected with Win Media.
So reinstalled Win Media 10, and "Hey Presto" the curser trains were not there anymore, and the loading screen was back to normal.
