    Can anybody please give me a link from where i can buy Rome Total War Gold whith Barbarian Invasion compatible whith EUROPEAN SISTEM ? One of my friends from US wants to buy me the game as a gift, but it didint finds the right version ...

    I believe the only difference is the language of the different regional versions, so if you get a US version you´ll get an English one.

    Ciaran's right, there's no difference other than language.

    Until I very recently got a new system, I was running US-purchased copy of MTW off of a Dell bought in the UK. No problems.

    Come on, it's a gift! What could be better than the gift of Total War.

    Perhaps he refers to the DVD-region code? IIRC you cannot use DVD's bought in America on an European computer and vica versa. Or am I confusing things?

    Hmm, it is Rome total war gold edition, on four CD,s whith manual, whith BI, whith everything...

    Thank you very much for tranquilling my poor heart... fortunately, the game is not on DVDs, so it will work

    I think that´s only video DVDs, because of different video/TV standards, and video dvds must be playable in players not part of a computer. Software should work everywhere (should as in "is supposed to"), at least I can´t recall seeing a regional code on any game dvd.
