I've read a topic about this a long time ago on another board, about how you can play multiplayer on another server other than GameSpy's server. It's kind of like direct-IP. There was this program that changes the IP address of the server or something like that? Does something like that exist?
Well I think somebody could setup a fakeserver if gamespy ever goes down (like what happened with Shogun), but if you did and gamespy was still up if you hosted a game I can't see anybody joining your game lol.
You can play on your LAN though, very easily. Just click "LAN", its under "Online Battles" when you enter gamespy.

But for use Hamachi you must have a good connection for host a line and you can only have 16 people in the channel.When the host logged of the channel go off too.
There isnt lag but theese are the problems.
