Things are heating up in the SPL as well. With 1 game left for all teams, Rangers are 2 points ahead of Celtic but one behind on goal difference. Celtic are at home to Hearts, Rangers away to Dundee United... mon the Gers!

Watching the Lyon game was a tense affair. Marseilles had so many chances, at least double Lyon's.

Diego and Almeida miss the final, but Almeida hasn't been that good this season, so meh. But, Diego is amazing. Mertesacker hopefully will be fit for the German Cup. And what's this I'm hearing that Baumann is also doubtful with an injury niggle?!

Man Utds defence has been its rock this season, over 20 odd clean sheets, the attack has been good this season but the defence was our stronger part. Last year we would out score the opposition... this year the opposition would out concede us....
Thanks for the congrats, TBH it was expected, then it was more ours to lose... so the feeling is we haven't lost it rather than won it... but im not ungrateful... im very happy we won it and even happier we have levelled it with the scum... i shall be jumping for joy if we beat barca though...
Sounds like Ronaldo could be staying... something about a nike contract whereas real madrid are sponsored by adidas, Tevez may very well be going though... which is a big loss but not irreplacable...
I will be rooting for Shaktar... whens the game ?

Well, I'm glad he's in form, if Serbia wins two next matches we've secured one of the top two positions. I'm generally positively surprised with Vidic, I'd never thought he'd be this good. I've expected him to become a constant in the national team but he matured into one of the best defenders in the world...

Your not the only one genuinely positively surprised... he has been our absolute rock and better than the £30 m player next to him, though a few have said part of the reason he is so good is because of his partnership with Ferdinand and he did have a little wobble at liverpool without him. I never expected him to become one of the greatest centre backs around. Another one of Fergies brilliant buys... was it about 9 mill ?

Can't wait for Helicopter Sunday. The SPL trophy could be going to either Rangers or Celtic. If Rangers win away to Dundee Utd, then the title is theirs. It would be fantastic if they won, what as season if my two teams won their respective leagues (local team always comes first though, of course)!

Wolfsburg is champions as well. Bordeaux and Marseilles have postponed the decision to the last fixture.
However there is only one game I'm awaiting for.

Well, the Honduran has been by far the best player of that CL. He has had higher points for every game than me. But the final is just a game, and we never know who might be the true winner. :D As a side note, I'm still thinking which team field. I'll certainly put Van der Sar, Ronaldo and Messi. Other then that, I need to reflect deeply.
