    Default Guild Wars Problems

I brought my laptop to college and was able to play Guild Wars exactly as I had for the first couple of days. Now, it no longer works properly. I have severe connectivity issues - I will start a game, the area will load at 100% and yet I won't get into the game...it just sits at 100%. When it actually does load, it's very choppy and if I try to quick travel to another town, the thing just cuts out completely and gives me a dropped connection error message. I have checked, and oftentimes while it is in the load phase, the GW process is using 100% of my CPU power.

My computer is a very fast Dell XPS M170, pretty much fully loaded, so it is surely up to snuff.

Could this be caused by increased internet usage across the campus network? Or is something else perhaps causing the problem?

(The problem may be hard to visualize if you don't actually play the game)

Im guessing the server you are using to connect isnt strong enough to hold up with increased usage? Just a guess, I have no idea.

If you get it fixed, we should play some time. My name is Hiji Pvp
