    Default Best add-ons for EB?

I've slogged through several campaigns in EB 0.74, and I'm about to start another. I've noticed by lurking the forums that there are some damned nice individual mods that can be added on to 0.74, things like Prom's grass, some excellent trees from the Blue Lotus mod (possibly as adapted by Iberus Generalis), and IIRC Darth Formations.

I think it'd be worthwhile to see a list of possible third-party add-ons to EB, provided the team doesn't object.

    Any suggestions?

tk's Elephant and Chariot Minimod, Bonny's sprites, edyz's map mod

I'm not so sure about Darth's formations - I've never used them, but EB has it own formations that may or may not be as good, but certainly more interesting than vanilla. Prom's grass is really quite necessary, assuming the prerequsite system requirements.

I wouldn't recommend Darth's Formations. We have our own historically accurate formations that are, I daresay, better than those in DarthMod.
We should have Prom's vegetation in one of nearest official builds, hopefully (after 0.8 things like this should move a bit faster :)

Hmmm, looks like there are fewer than I'd thought. I've also seen something about upgraded sprites (making the 3D>2D transition on zooming out less noticeable). Is that worthwhile?

yes, it's Bonny sprite Pack, here's the link:

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=51323

it is really worthy to install

EDIT EB has not a big number of add-ons cause it is still in the Beta phase, so it is hard to mod i think, wait untill it is finished and i think there will flourish minimods as bacterias...

Of course, the other reason for the lack of addons might be that EB is so perfect it doesn't need improvements

    Hehe, there is that.

I had thought there were quite a few cosmetic touches that could be added; I guess my recent graphics card upgrade got me all excited-like.

That is, simultaneously, the most accurate and the most disturbing description of EB I've ever heard.

To extend the analogy, developing 0.8 is like trying to please a woman: a long, arduous, exhausting process... but oh, the reward! :)

(hmm better not extend the analogy further, or we'll have to deal with the fact that we need so many active .. ekhm.. members to achieve full ..ekhm.. release ;)

    This thread delivers.

it most certainly does deliver. Wow, i want your female friend, come hold me tight all through the night. btw, you gotta be more decriptive when talking about eb as an orgasim. Are we talking about masterbation or sex? Cause I can come up with a few reasons why it could be both. Im actually waiting for my first shot at this mod cause it's for 1.2 and by then i upgraded to 1.5 to play platinum rtr. Back on track, women are far too expensive and hard to deal with. bye for now

    @ iberus generalis

If you had done all right, your data\sprite folder should look like this:

Ok then you maust have done something wrong with the dmb, but i don't think that unpacking the Vannila sprites are changing something...
