Dreams that have inspired you/helped you make a decision

I was just wondering, have any of you ever had a dream which inspired you or helped you to make a decision? Because i woke up from a rather inspiring dream just half an hour ago.

Before i start, i have to make an admission - i have terrible dental hygiene. I haven't brushed my nashers for 2 months before today, mainly because i've been globetrotting so much, and mainly because i'm a lazy *******. Even when i do routinely brush my teeth, it's only once every week or two. But so far, you could say i'm lucky. The worst that has happened is i have had a filling in one tooth. But, i haven't been helping my teeth by sustaining myself on nothing but chocolate digestives and milk. Usually chocolate milk. For three years.

Anyway, the dream. I'm eating food (as people do) when i suddenly notice i have a wobble tooth, near the front, next to a canine. I poke it, ignore it, and keep eating. Suddenly, it's daggling out of my mouth by a few blood vessels. I'm looking at it in shock (yet for some reason it didn't hurt, and neither will future pleasures in this dream) and suddenly the string of blood breaks. I'm holding my tooth in front of me. I look at it and there a few small, black holes in it. Plaque.

Later in the day, i'm walking around, eating, again, when i can feel grit in my mouth. Some of my teeth are disintigrating! It goes on like this for hours, and occasionally a molar falls out. They're typically full of holes, with horrible green mould growing out of them.

Suddenly i woke up. The first thing i did was push my tongue against my teeth, to check they were all there. They were all there. I got up out of bed, got changed, and rushed to the bathroom, were i cleaned my teeth incessantly for 3 minutes. They are now sparkly white. I then went down stairs, through out all my biscuits and started eating a banana. I finished that, and now as i write this, i'm eating an apple. I've taken a vow never to let my teeth go so terrible again. Ever.

So, have any of you ever had a dream like this, which has inspired you to do something or change you life?

Had a similar thing when I still used a lot of drugs, looking in the mirror and seeing myselve rather messed up. Then I went to bed

(no seriously, these things are weird, I didn't use anything for a year)

Glad it inspired you to brush your teeth, a much softer realisation then a root-channel treatment which should have the same effect.
