Thread: A word of Thanks

    Default A word of Thanks

First off I would like to thank the entire EB team for this great mod you have created, even the guys who just sit around watching the other guys do all the work.

I used to be a RTR fan myself but i heard talk of this mod on the RTR forums and had to check it out for myself, Its a great mod. I often find myself spending hours just reading Building and unit Descriptions, which goes to show the amount of effort that has gone into this mod, even thoug it is still in the beta stage.

0.74 almost feels like a 1.0 release. I rarely have ctds and all the units feel well balanced. Although i have only played one factions, the Romanii, it has been my longest campaign as of yet. The roleplaying aspect is especially great, with a wide array of new traits and ancillarys (Spelling?).

Only one thing is problematic in my eyes and that is the bothersom Reinforcement ctd. I often find myself fleeing from the truly large and exciting battles in fear of this ctd. But i know the team is working ever so hard at fixing this problem, if there is anything i can do to help plz tell me. I know the basics and a little more of modding RTW.

0.74 fells nearly complete to me, so i cant even imagine what 0.8, or especially 1.0 will feel like. The port to 1.5 is already enough to cause me to crap my pants, with the awsome night battles and such, let alone the 100 plus new units or something of that nature. There is absolutely no pressure for you guyz to have to complete 0.8 in the next few weeks. Personally i would almost want it to take another month or two, so i can finish my current campaing and so we will have a problem free system (hopefully)

Thanks for all the Hard work, and for doing it for Reasons uknown to myself.

What is this "lynch mod" you speak of? Is there a "KKK: Total War" in the works somewhere?

always good to hear from a fan markus. Glad you're enjoying the campaign. we really hope 0.8 will further your interest in the history of our time period with even more building and unit info.

I second this, with the exception that I really, really want all those Haikaikan units ASAP...

I hope I will not get stoned by the fellow EB members, but it seems that we have soooo many new units that their integration became an uncommon big chunk of work, and this the biggest drawback now... But it is a sweet burden isn't it?
