You can post in the M2:TW forum, just not start new threads. To answer your question: you can attack Rome, and thus the pope, in M2:TW, but probably there will be severe consequences to any aggresion directed at him. A more diplomatic way to control his holyness is by having one of your cardinals elected as pope.
