i recentely starting messing around with fire and particle efects trying to restore the old fire, visible in some pre release previews of rome...trouble is, i connot get the damn thing to stand still, neither can i get the whole texture to appear completely visible, as possibly seen in the Screenshots...



my question is, is there possible to add a new particle efect thet has the above said characteristics, how would i code it, and where would i do it? cuz i tried using the fiery spark efect present in the descr_particle.txt file, but when i alter the Descr_burning building.txt file to use it, the game simply crashs...

any help getting this started would be apreciated by many i guess, cuz as soon as i get this working i plan on releasing it to the community...
