I read the article but does anyone know the lease amount of folders I need to do a mod:mymod for BI?![]()
I do not believe anyone has looked into as of yet (?) - I've certianly not had time. We are (as far as I know) all simply copying over the whole BI folder and then overwriting it with out own files (some of which are taken from RTW data folder of course).
Anyone out there nailed it down yet? It is something on my list but quite a long way down :(
I'm actually thinking if there any difference if modding using the mod:my_mod switch for RTW, but using the BI.exe instead ?
How is the command line shoud be ? I tried:
but it still runs the unmodded RTR (which I installed directly on the Rome/data folder, instead of re-directing it to my Imperator folder (for my_mod thing).PHP Code:
"F:\Program Files\Activision\Imperator II - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -mod:RTR -show_err

Say: O unbelievers, I serve not what you serve, nor do you serve what I serve, nor shall I serve what you are serving, nor shall you be serving what I serve.
To you your religion, and to me my religion.
Let me get this straight. You installed RTRPE. Then Imperator II on it. Now you are trying to play Imperator II through the BI exe?
Dol Guldur: have you managed to eliminate some files from BI? If so which one. Since it is my job to convert a mod for BI to use the switch.![]()
No, we require players of the mod to copy their entire BI folder over as of yet (only takes about 5 mins) as I have not had time to test this out. Clearly, as we mod more files it seems sensible to attend to such a matter at the end of the modding of the game (that may be never :) )
