    Hi Caius,
descr_strat looks like you've done way, way too much too senate family tree.

If you look at normal descr_strat - all members of family in relative section share same surname (if they have one) don't think they can have different ones.... can someone else confirm??

Anyway family structure has to work like
    relative Grand Dad (= faction leader - only one), wife, son/daughter 1, s/d 2, s/d 3, s/d 4(4max), end
    relative son1/husbandofdaughter 1, wife/daughter1, grandson/daughter 1, gs/gd2, gs/gd3, gs/gd4, end
    relative son2...etc
    relative grandson 1.... etc

notice all relatives at start of lines below first must have a relationship defined in the lines above.

sons/daughters and grandsons/granddaughters have to be listed in descending order of age and their is a minimum age difference between all sons and fathers etc. possibly 16 for boys and a bit less for girls (not sure exactly what)

You seem to have added a few family trees together so have multiple leaders and heirs and people listed at start of relative lines who have no relationship to anyone in lines above them.

there may be other problems as well but you definitely need to fix this - if you can't get enough armies using possible family members, use generals (captains) instead.

Also there are other problems associated with actually trying to play senate and slave factions.......................EEEEK!!

EDIT: You've also still got romans_julii in as faction creator in descr_strat - you can't have faction you've 'removed' from descr_strat as faction creator or default faction in descr_regions either.
(most unified Rome mods actually leave Julii in instead of Senate as it avoids hardcoded problems)

Really just go back and do one thing at a time and check each works before proceding. e.g. just take one of the roman factions out, make sure you've got rid of all references to them in regions / strat so it loads. Then try fiddling with family trees etc. (if you're adding new names for a factions generals you also have to make sure they are in that factions section of descr_names.txt - not doing so is a definite no message CTD)
