Will there be any historical battles in 0.8?

The battle of Pharsalus needs to be included!

All current work is going into 0.8, and add-ons such as historic battles are not considered essential pieces. tk-421 has already released the battle of Magnesia, and he is continuing his work with more battles. If you have good knowledge of any battles you would like to be included then we would be happy to recieve any research (backed up with good sources) that you may have. It will help tk-421 and others bring out new battles faster.

Send it to tk-421, he's in charge of historic battles.

Information that is needed is the background to the battle, composition of the armies involved and an overview of how the battle went. Obviously the information avaliable will vary between battles and tk-421 will give you a better idea of what we need from you.

Ivè found something, it`s not much, and it`s not as detailed as you need, but it may help.

You can send me whatever information you have. I started working on Zama awhile ago but am busy with some unit stats, but go ahead and send me some information. Modern sources are good, maps are good, and ancient sources are very good, all three are excellent. I doubt that there will be historical battles in 0.8 because they are no good if map changes are made, but there ought to be some seperate releases after 0.8.
