Default Speed of stages of the game with new turns system?

Could someone from CA please elaborate on how fast the various eras of the game pass in M2TW?

Personally, I loved the Early and High periods of the game in MTW, but never bothered much with Late. With M2TW, will these eras (Early particularly) pass by quickly, due to the new turns system, leaving us with longer in (what used to be) the later stages?

there is no "eras" system like in M1TW; it works like in rome, where unit prudction is determined by the size of your cities. of course, there is probably going to be a "gunpowder event", like there was an event for the marius reform.

Well there will probably be "eras" but they will be like more like a event, like you get a pop-up saying "you have now entered the high era".
But unlike M1TW it will be dynamic instead.(judging from RTW)
