    Default warwagons for Bohemia

Now when i proudly see that Bohemia is IN ( hureeyy ).
Is it possible in this engine to create famous bohemian warwagons?
It will be fantastic to see it in action.

War wagons are rather iffy. Currently the answer is no because we cant make new models yet. Its something we'll certainly look into if CA ever gives us the ability to create new models but even then we really cant make promises as it could truly be impossible.

ok, and what about new hand weapons - like flail ( typical hussitic weapon )

    http://www.husitstvi.cz/vyzbroj21.php - 2nd from the right

    the same like with wagons?

The same in that yes it would require us to model the new weapon which cant be done until CA releases a tool for us.

The difference is that if they do release a tool then it would be completely possible and rather simple to do.

Yes, but I have faith they will. Just take solace in that you are not alone. There are other weapons, maybe not Bohemian (sorry about that, I just know of other cultures that aren't nearly requested as much) that are not included in game.

I've been looking into the possibility of warwagons for the Kipchaks, and it seems that there are already models for them in the game however they aren't currently used. They can be added in the battle editor but that's it for the moment. If someone does eventually mod them into the game it would most likely be as a static fortification and there are no plans for their addition to MA as yet.

Yes, fortification will be better than moving wagons. like normal forts, but from wagons. but how do you want to put a troops on it? or the wagons will be empty? they were mounted about 10 troops so it will look funny if it will be empty.
And I know only hussitic wagons, dunno how the quipchaks looks.
or other problems: -how the troops on the wagon will fight?
-the crew on the wagon is mixed ( crossbow, flail, handgun..)

I think its unreal to create it

Well, that is how they were used, right? A static fortification that could be moved only in the deployment stage (like stakes).

That is what I meant. They would shoot at the attackers with bows, repel them with anything possible and then launch a counterattack.

Yes, but not only crosbowmens but a close fighting troops too.
here is a crew of a wagon (hussitic)- http://www.husitstvi.cz/jednotky1.php
it was compound by more types of soldiers as you see.

Yes, various pole-arms were used to repel those who got close.

    This is an idea.
It won't look good but it will reflect the war wagons effect on a battle.
Give factions that used war wagons, Bohemia, the Rus, etc, a discount to build forts or make it even free.
Allow troops within the forts to shoot without penalty to reflect murder-holes used for shooting.

Or modify the forts for those factions. Make the walls smaller, give the walls depth so that attackers can man them. And yes, give murder holes.

yes some small forts like Tabor ( -> taborites = hussites from fort Tabor - main hussitic base )
it had walls but very small. Not palisade like normal fort, but little walls made from stones. maybe 2m high. attackers could make them with ladders or smtn.
And without fences to cover, so they could be shot down by crosbowmens.
lol - modding work on 2 years

otherwise - some hussitic pics of weaponry and wagons - I think the hussite types of troops could be unlocked for player (In Bohemia ofcourse) after year 1350 a.d. (50 years before hussitic revolution, because in 1408 or so it will be too late to play with em). the best will be to hire them as mercenaries because they wasn feudal troops, but trained peasants (mostly) and troops who deserted and joined them

otherwise - some useful hussitic pics of weaponry and wagons:

    http://www.husitstvi.cz/jednotky3.php
    http://www.husitstvi.cz/jednotky4.php

And I think that some gunpowder units could stay. not musketeers but some early handgunners. because on that wagons were many of em

Just a small disclaimer, I don't want you to get your hopes up, I have no clue how to put this in game, and it is not looking good for war-wagons at MA. With that said, we are staying open minded and I am publicly speculating "what ifs".

Otherwise Im happy that Bohemia is added and thats all.
This is only material for you, how the weaponry in bohemia looks in 1400 a.d.

We dont know yet if this is possible or not. Only Shifty will be able to tell if it can be made and how once the tools are released. Until then, I don't think there's a point discussing it. All I can tell is that we'll include them if it is possible.

Looks like someone has worked the basics of how to add war wagons into custom battles, it's in the mod discussion forum. However there are still a lot of bugs so until we can make our own meshes it still doesn't look good.

It would be possible, since it would use the same sort data as elephant (without Super melee attack and the berserk thingy)
    Now with transparent layers!

Hopefully, CA releases them with a patch or expansion, but until that time, it will be very difficult to implement them in game. Currently, we are developing unit rosters (I'm not sure if someone has created the rostor for the factions that did use the war wagon). Keep in mind, that if implemented, it will probably be a static defense structure deployable at the deployment stage.
