I think the feeling is that modders might want to do a lot of preparatory work, recruiting, brain-storming and researching before M2TW is released. So we are trying to provide a space where they can do that.

Eventually I believe there will be separate SP and MP forums, but at the moment all we are doing here is anticipating the game and reading about the previews etc. That itnerest seems fairly common between SP and MP prospective players. Until the game is out, it's not clear that there are lots of separate MP threads that would warrant their own forum.

Personally, I like a few big lively forums, rather than lots of small ghettoes where nothing happens.
