    Default Field Fortifications

    Has anyone expored the concept of fixed field works as units themseleves?.

    It could be wagons for some of the barbarians, it could be caltrops or plashing or any number of fixed defenses placed and not removable once placed on the tactical map.

    Anyone tried this before?

    I think it's been tried - I don't think anyone's had any success with it.
