    Yes...maybe you are right richyg.

    For instance, Ive seen your model and I think it has a real good look, great modellig!, about the hair, maybe you can shorten it. if you cant, it can still be a render for a sergeant (they where not nesseraly Cuzcos). Since I think (maybe im wrong) yours is the most advanced model, Ill try to post a concepto art for an Inca general soon. that way you can grab some more ideas to add to your model. Bye!

    So what are the culture groups and what factions are in each group? Sorry if they have already been posted, I'm using my uncles computer and his internet connection is kinda slow.

    Would it be alright if I started working on family member portraits and GUI's?

    The factions are:

    Factions that resemble the Incans
    The Incan Empire
    The Chachapoyas
    The Aymara

    Factions that resemble the Mapuche
    The Mapuche
    The Diaguita

    Unique Factions
    The Chimu
    The Augaruna

    @Lignator: Yes, you can work on the Family Portraits and GUIs (at least for now)

    @Richyg13: I agree, we should get a forum, anyone know any good free ones?

    ...looks like I missed alot in just a few days. school is running me ragged, and its driving me insane!!! Had to do 4 reports, and an essay. Alot of cooking for today and yesterday.

    Maybe we should wait on the info...as this Antarki fellow has more accurate info. I have a couple books on them, but I cant find them anywhere...

    what all does skinning require, I want to help out a bit.

    Welcome to the mod new people (you know who you are...I hope...).

    I have the perfect family portrait! ...joke.

    very good progress...and my mom might let me mod if I can convince her that it does not harm the computer...any suggestions?

    Tell her that modding is the same as writing in a word document except a program looks at it for advise, it would no more crash a computer then writing a report in MS Word would.

    If that does not work, I might get my mom on to explain (she is not very computer proficient and might be able to make a point).

    @Motep dra Uha Dnia Mazzat
    Judging from the fact your asking for ur mum's permission your quite young then??
    I've been modding since i was 13-14 (was long time ago cant remember exactly how old i was). It helps that ive always been relativly computer literate and my parents were always aware of what i was doing by showing them my progress.
    Now that im August last year (when i turned 20) i was shown a course that let me put my love for modding to good use and now im studying to be a game's artist.

    If you can explain that it will have long term benefits like it has for me the maybe she can understand why you want to do it. I know perhaps that could be difficult to understand right now but you never know where its going to lead.

    @Murfios
    I like the concept :) that mask is going to be fun to make now! (Oh crap its gna be hard!!) I should be able to rig the tail to flop about too.

    @Antarki
    Ok it would be a massive pain in the butt to change the hair length now so im gna have to leave it as a sergeant model of sorts. I can make a new head for the same model with relative ease for another model if need be but ive put too much work into this one just to scrap it.

    @ByzantineKnight
    Can you post a unit list on the private forums?

    Good luck....

    About the music in I:TW, can we use existing tracks?
    For the sound effects, there are hundreds of games that could lend them to us.
    Perhaps the Barbarian victory can be used for the Mapuche?

    I dont think so. Its too celtic. once ago (3 years maybe) my music teacher was teaching us native american music, and he showed us an instrument called trutruka, a sort of large horn-thing. it souded very nice, and the track he showed un was ideal for the mapuche victory.
    I have never been able to find it, so if anybody could help, it would be great.
    I dont have those things i cannot name or anything like that, so just search for trutruka or mapuche and you may find something. You can also type zampoña or andean music to get, well, andean music.

    Delete that fast! you cant name those in this forum!

    -I can edit some tracks to make them sound more Incanish, like taking out vocals and adding drums in their place.
    Mapuche music is kinda....strange....not so catchy....I could edit those....
    We could make it like thqat, but it will be no way near the quality in vanilla.
