Is there anyway to turn off the number of turns you get in the campaign?
I took things rather slow at the start, and it just doesn't look like i will have enough time to capture all the cities.

Well that didn't work.

Are you playing vanilla Rome, or are you playing BI?

Yeah, BI really didn't appeal to me, so it's just vanilla Rome for me.
Does it matter?
Well that didn't work.
and hi!!!

Hmm... I don't know if this'll help but if I remember correctly, there's a mod that allows you to increase the number of turns you get per year. Granted, it doesn't remove the turns but it sure adds a lot more..

Also: remember that you don't have to capture all the cities. I'm not sure how much are needed for a grand victory, but it's certainly not the whole map.

In RTW for the Imperial Campaign it´s 50 provinces, including Rome, for every faction. And you´ve got almost 600 turns at your disposal - I´ve actually never - ever! - made it into the AD time, not even below 100 BC.
I'm a turtler too, and even I've never needed the full 600 turns to conquer the map.Originally Posted by Ciaran
That said, Svenska, if you still want to know how to mod that, then I recommend paying a visit to the Scriptorium; odds are good they've got a thread or two already covering your question. If not, you can still check out Modding Questions. Good luck!
