Temporarily uninstalling BI

Having some problems trying to make "unplayable" factions playable, I adapted by doing an uninstall, then a re-install, and then made the the unplayable factions playable. That part worked fine.

Then, I went to make the same mods with BI, but BI does not go anywhere at all. Just a large red picture on the screen of some barbarians that stays until I hit "escape."

When I put the disc in, first it shows a few options, one of them a "blacked out" 'install' but hitting any of the options, as I said, takes me nowhere.

So, I figure that I need to "uninstall" BI (I thought that it came out when I uninstalled RTW). Problem is, I do not see any option at all to uninstall BI.

Does anybody out there know of a way to uninstall BI by means of some back door?

Then, I could probably reinstall it and I'm sure it will work fine.

I don´t think BI can be uninstalled seperately, though that may depend on whether you´ve got RTW Gold or have ought RTW and BI seperately. In the first case I suppose you´ve got to uninstall both, though I had problems with uninstalling RTW as well. Try the Apothecary for advise how to uninstall RTW.
