    Question Big White Boxes

    Hi everyone,

Since my Laptop got virused to death a while back - hence my time away from this fabulous guild, you guys have been helping me with all my problems.
Well, after finding out that the Windows install was faulty, my computer was re-done yet again, and I have had to reinstall RTW from scratch.

Anyway my new problem is that when I go into the start a campaign screen where I get to choose my faction - the map box is completely white - as is the factions box, and both the arrow boxes in each corner to go back or continue. I can still choose a faction and press the continue button, but it is as though it has lost the graphics to these 'bits'.

The game itself is fine, but when I close down and it asks if your sure you want to finish, the yes and no boxes are just white boxes too, though they do work.

This is not so bad in RTW as I know all the factions and where they are, but I thought that starting from scratch was a good time to try out BI, and as this is the same thing, I cant see where each faction starts etc.

    Any ideas ???

All right ... all right ... but apart from better sanitation and medicine and education and irrigation and public health and roads and a freshwater system and baths and public order ... what HAVE the Romans ever done for US?

Only the usual: update your drivers, apply the latest patches and maybe just try to reinstall Rome, although that's a long shot since a faulty installation would be a rare thing (but easy to redo if you have the time).
