I can still see the interface and the little army peices (whatever you want to call them), but the map has completely gone white on me. The comp may be old, but still good enough to run the game without any problems (or should be no problems). Like I said it loads up fine, and you can still play it even after it goes white, it's just very hard to do when you can't see the campaign map. I've been playing Shogun which is a fine game, but you can only go through it so many times before you start to want to play something else. And the only games I have that this comp "should" run smoothly are Shogun and Medieval. Any tips would be appreciated.

    System Specs:

    Intel Celeron 802 mhz processor
    318 Megs of RAM
    30 Gig HD
5.5 Meg Intel 82810 Graphics Controller (I think this is the video card, which may be the prob)
The graphics card is the problem. Intel are not renowned for their graphics hardware. I would advise that you purchase a new video card. However I would also advise that you don't go overboard due to your low spec machine. Try to get hold of a Radeon 7000-9550 or Geforce4 MX series. Either of these will run MTW easily and won't break the bank (around £10 on ebay). This way, when it comes to upgrade time, you won't be having any regrets. Ensure that your pc can support an AGP graphics card first though. I say this, because some branded machines have a motherboard with onboard AGP but no actual slot.
