Red, if the chain of events was as you described, then blaming it all on the Israelis is just about right.

We all learn from experience. Unfortunately we don't all learn as much as we should.
Not on the day of the attack they weren't .You don't mention that Hizbollah were all over the UN post
So, they (Hiz) were the day before? The day after? What were they (UN) observing, and what was their intel being used for? Did they have any use being there at all, or were they simply watching the show?Originally Posted by Tribesman

they were there to observe and report violations , it was their job .What were they (UN) observing, and what was their intel being used for? Did they have any use being there at all, or were they simply watching the show?
Yes it is Israel at fault , they said they would fully co-operate with the investigation to determine how the "accident" happened . They have not co-operated have they .Damn, the Hizbullah sure threw them under the bus...oh wait, it's ALL Isreal's fault (I forgot).
So despite your lame attempt at scewing things there Black ship you are completely correct .
For Israel to not supply the information it is ALL Israels fault , unless you want to try and argue that hezballah has a hand in Israel not co-operating with the investigation .
I don't think you seem to understand the amount of confusion that reigns in a modern battlefield...
You seem to want to think the Israelis did this on purpose. Pray tell, WHY would they want to do something like this on purpose? What would they gain from it?

Also an airstrike doesn't sounds that confusing especially when the party who threw that bomb repeatedly claims that they are very precise.
If a miliatry commander is too confused to think, he should not decide about the lives of people.
Or what would you say if you went to hospital because your feet hurt and woke up with both arms amputated, would you just say: "Well, that's the confusion in a modern hospital...."?![]()

When do Israel cooperate? When have they been investigated about the open secret of having nuclear weaponry?
For an army that likes to think of itself as so advanced, it is difficult to believe that destroying an outpost which has been present for years and also identified itself was not deliberate.
Israel is basically going to stonewall so that there is no one who can be blames per se, as there is no concrete evidence. The UN is to weak to do anything about this.
Let's see... That was 4 soldiers killed. Israel invaded due to 2 bieng captured. Looks like we'll need to carpet bomb Israel for a bit.
