I have it on very good authority that the reason behind Canada's exclusion from video games is because in a previous lifetime the Canadian people were responsible for committing acts of unspeakable evil. As a punishment for its sins, the Canadian nation must now pay the ultimate price by not only being excluded from all forms of electronic entertainment but shall also be virtually ignored with regard to its government, culture and respectable contribution to the Allied cause during World War 2. Furthermore the people of Canada shall be forever deluded into thinking that the unacceptably thick slices of pork that grace their breakfast plates is actually 'bacon'.

The problem is, I don't know a single person who would consider that, "bacon"

Honestly Canada is what? 30 million people? Of which what percentage live within 8 hours of the US border? 80-90%? Sure, there are differences between us and Americans, but honestly, what are we going to make a game about? Role-Playing a beaver?

It looks more like bacon that that horrible streaky stuff served up under the same name in the USA...

What i do not understand is why Americans call the Canadians war dodgers as far as i can remember the canadians turned up to all the important wars before the USA.

Because everybody knows that WW2 didn't start until Pearl Harbour, and WW1 didn't start until 1917. [/SARCASM]

Really it's because we stayed out of most US wars post WW2. You know Vietnam and Iraq II.

Who calls Canadians war dodgers? Canadians may be peaceful but there certianly not the French!
There, but for the grace of God, goes John Bradford

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

    LOL!

I have to second the question, though: I wasn't aware we Americans thought of Canadians as war dodgers. I seem to recall they deployed significant numbers of troops to fight in both World Wars, and even sent a contingent of soldiers to Afghanistan in 2002.

In fact, the only major wars I'm aware of that Canada has avoided (from the last century or so) was Vietnam and Iraqi Freedom.
