Initial Loading Screen Lock Ups

When trying to play this mod, I keep freezing once I get to the very first loading bar, with the quote. I get past the first screen fine, but once I hit that loading bar, it never seems to load up.

I had a similar problem with RTR, when loading up the main menu it kept freezing at the very end.

This does not happen with RTW vanilla.


Any tips??

Maybe your cpu is being too taxed to play the modded versions, but it might just be a matter of trying to do a fresh reinstall of RTW and then copying it and putting the modded versions over your copy. Something might have gotten changed in your original version that is causing a conflict.

Wait, I waited a while just for the hell of it and it loaded up.


However, the loading times in this mod are extraordinary, sometimes taking up to 5-6 minutes to load the main menu or campaign map. Is this supposed to happen? It's a real pain having to wait so long for everything, never happened in Vanilla.

They are longer certainly, but none of our members has ever had load times that long. Here are some samples from our current build (mine is first ). The slowest one is at the end. It is about as slow as you could possibly think about playing EB on.
