Thread: Non-modder artists?

  1. #1

    Default Non-modder artists?

This is no big search or anything of an immediate need, but if anyone is a really talented (2D) artist, or knows someone who is and who is a fan of the period, we might be interested in working with them to develop some additional art for EB as a release (of 0.8 and then 1.0) gets closer. Possibly for use in publicity, website use, banners, in-game use even, etc.

Again, this isn't something vital now, but we definitely have room for this type of "expansion" of our presence at this time if the right person comes along. PM me or TK if you like, or post here.

I pride myself on some skill when it comes to drawing such things. However I have yet too get a scanner, but as soon as I get this job at EB I should have one.

I'd be willing to do some work for you guys, I consider myself a dab hand with a brush/pencil and I'm interested in the period.

We would, of course, need to see some sample work before any real discussions could take place. It may be posted here or links to it could be PM'd to myself or TK. We do have people with photoshop skills, and while we have some artists on the team, we don't have any currently able to do any scenes for promotional work; that's what we are looking for.

Don't know if ya'll could use this type of art anywhere, but here are a couple of [simple] samples (I am well able to do battle/action/city scenes). I'm just doing these for fun in my free time, so no worries if they aren't realistic enough...(gloat)

Please, stop doing this to me, it hurts!

I say the EB team sell some kidneys of the younger members to hire him.

Glad to hear you think these are kidney-worthy! Though I'd happily do whatever for the EB team in exchange for the hours of quality entertainment they've supplied me with free of charge...

I would have offered to, but there's no time, scanner, or anything as good as Disco's stuff.

@ Discoskull:Excellent work.... i love the second image, it does suggest "face protection isi mportant in battle" & the third one will make every enemy of the Sweboz think: "Goddamm it, they hired Hulk and he is coming my direction!"
