There is some more good info in that preview. The most interesting thing to me is that guns will definitely not be available for use in the Mongol campaign. AC was put in as a substitue for guns.
Also I assumed that the campaign of the three unifiers would be purely a series of hitorically accurate tactical battles. Reading what is there it sounded as if the three unifiers might be played on the strategic level as well.

yes, the preview is good, also pay heed to the April release date.
I noticed the April date as well. But I am not going to get my hopes up. If they meet that date I'll be psyched!!! They are putting an awful lot into this expansion so a later date would not upset me.

Also, the MP campaign is (even) further explained - it seems really good! And the "advanced options", which allow playing from half way through the campaign and the like... Yummie. We're starting to slip into the over-hype department again...

I am pretty psyched that the campaign of the 3 Unifiers will have a strategic component as well. I love the tactical game but I also really enjoy the strategic level.
Bigger maps will be great. Makes alot of sense where there will be widespread use of cav by the Mongols. Will give them room to manuever and perform hit and run attacks. Cav in general seem to be under utilized in S:TW because of their vulnerability to Yari. Seems like that is going to change in the Warlord Edition.
I also prefer playing with 60 man units because it can be difficult to handle units larger than that on the current maps. With larger maps you can up the unit sizes and not feel crowded.

New campaigns and bigger maps are great additions. I always play with 120 man units so more room would be welcome on occasion.
The explicit commitment to a multiplayer campaign is also noteworthy.
On top of it all there should be better graphics across the board. I'm pretty psyched. I bet we don't see it 'til June though...

I really don't think the Kensai is going to be that powerful on the battle field. Have you ever had your archers open up on a unit that has only one man left? He doesn't last very long. Even if he has excellent armor he will eventually fall. Probably the best way to deploy a Kensai will be in the woods so he doesn't become a pin cushion. Or have him stand in the middle of another unit so they soak up most of the arrows. He might also be tough on birdge defenses especially if you don't bring missile units. Your troops will be crowded crossing the bridge while he will have plenty of room to hack and slash. But alone on an open field he will not be that dangerous.
