Because 60's music was the only music ever made -- EVER -- that was made not just for sound alone, but with conscious thought given to how this sound would affect the listener's visual and tactile senses. Since I have Tourette's Syndrome, my head does not work entirely normally; with one effect being that I can "see" and "feel" the shape and texture of music. I have had this wierd sense for as long as I can remember, and it is quite entertaining. Without fail, the only music that has a conscious feel and texture is 60's psychedelia; everything else feels too haphazard and random to me.

I'm in a grind band. I listen to metal and grind with a few exceptions. A list would be terribly long and a waste of time.

I'm thinking of doing something with grindcore too. Mainly a solo project, not really a band. I would use noise to fill the background.

Grind is too much fun not to play. There are a lot of grind/noise and grind/faeces-core bands out there, I'm sure there'd be a scene for you if you were to put something out. If it's offensive enough, we should do a split.
