Because 60's music was the only music ever made -- EVER -- that was made not just for sound alone, but with conscious thought given to how this sound would affect the listener's visual and tactile senses. Since I have Tourette's Syndrome, my head does not work entirely normally; with one effect being that I can "see" and "feel" the shape and texture of music. I have had this wierd sense for as long as I can remember, and it is quite entertaining. Without fail, the only music that has a conscious feel and texture is 60's psychedelia; everything else feels too haphazard and random to me.Originally Posted by JimBob
